Concord Community Garden wins Community Environmental Award at 2016 Canada Bay Sustainability Awards

The Garden was awarded the Environmental Community Association award at the 2016 Canada Bay Sustainability Awards held on 23 June at the Phoenix Restaurant. The garden was recognised for its work over the past 12 months improving the sustainable aspects of the garden with installation of a water tank and new drip irrigation, the addition of a native bee hive, fostering organic principles, and involvement in the local community with open days and participation in the Concord Fair
